Notice of Enhanced Personal Screening at Incheon Airport

6th December, 2024 01:15:54 PM KST

Starting from Thursday, December 5, 2024, the personal screening process using full-body scanners at Incheon International Airport will include stricter shoe screening procedures.


- Applicable Airport: Incheon International Airport (ICN)

- Effective Period: From December 5, 2024 

- Screening Details: Passengers using full-body scanners must remove and X-ray all shoes with heels over 3.5 cm (except sneakers and Crocs).


As these enhanced screening measures may result in longer waiting times at security checkpoints, 

we kindly recommend arriving at the airport earlier than usual to complete the departure process smoothly.
