Air Premia's 'Portable Battery' guidelines

Effective from March 1, 2025 

To ensure safety, please check the guidelines for portable batteries and e-cigarettes brought on board.


1. Before boarding

1) Portable Battery Carry-On Restrictions
- The number and capacity of portable batteries you carry may be subject to restrictions.

- Please check the detailed guidelines below. If necessary, visit the check-in counter to verify with an Air Premia staff member.

- Most standard portable batteries have a capacity of 100Wh or less. (Battery capacity formula: Voltage (V) × Current (Ah), 1Ah = 1,000mAh)

2) Short Circuit Prevention
- Only portable batteries with proper short circuit protection can be carried onboard.

- Cover battery terminals with insulating tape or use protective pouches or clear zip-lock bags for individual packaging. (Packaging guideline: 1 battery per clear zip-lock bag)


2. After Boarding

1) Portable batteries and e-cigarettes are not allowed to be stored in the overhead bins.

2) Charging portable batteries and e-cigarettes is not allowed onboard.

3) If batteries overheat, please inform a crew member immediately.
