Air Premia provides Priority boarding, baggage claim service, and priority seating on all routes to ensure a safe and comfortable flight.

Information on air travel for pregnant passengers
Less than 32 weeks pregnant* Unless there was a doctor’s recommendation against air travel,
the pregnant passenger may take flights as a normal passenger would.
(No additional forms or documents are required)
32 weeks pregnant - Less than 37
weeks pregnant
* A total of two copies of a medical certificate (one original copy and one copy) must be submitted.
→ The medical certificate must have been written within seven days of travel
(the same criterion applies to the return flight).

* The medical certificate must be clearly stated whether the individual is fit for air travel, how many days the individual has been pregnant (as of the date of the medical certificate), scheduled date of childbirth and whether there are any complications.
37 weeks pregnant or more
(In the case of twins or more, 33 weeks pregnant or more)
* Boarding a flight is prohibited regardless of whether the individual has a medical certificate.
This is to ensure the health of the expecting mother and the fetus.

How to prepare a medical certificate

  • Prepare one original copy and one reproduced copy of the medical certificate.
  • The letter must clearly be stated whether the individual is fit for air travel, how many days the individual has been pregnant (as of the date of the opinion letter), scheduled date of childbirth, symptoms and whether there are any complications.
  • The note must have been written within seven days of travel (the same criterion applies to the return flight).If more than seven days have passed as of the date of the return flight, another medical certificate must be gained locally in the region the passenger had traveled to.
    • EX) Itinerary of a pregnant passenger who was issued a medical certificate on May 1: May 2, Incheon-Hanoi /May 8, Hanoi-Incheon
    • → May 2: medical certificate is valid/May 8: medical certificate has expired
