Purchase Information

  • You can purchase baggage allowance through our website, mobile app, or reservation center up to 48 hours before departure.
  • Baggage can also be purchased at the check-in counter on the day of departure, but airport baggage rates will apply.
  • Please check your free baggage allowance before making a purchase.
  • Passengers traveling on codeshare flights or connecting flights operated by partner airlines are not eligible for purchase.

  • Economy Lite and Premium Economy do not allow prepaid overweight baggage purchases, only additional pieces can be purchased.
  • Payment currency: Departing from Korea - KRW, Departing from other regions - Local currency.
  • Passengers are allowed to purchase a maximum of two additional pieces per person.
  • If both excess piece and overweight baggage fees apply, charges are calculated separately.
    Example: If your baggage allowance is 23 kg:
    • Departing from Korea to Northeast Asia with an extra 20 kg baggage → KRW 60,000 (extra piece fee)
    • Departing from Korea to Northeast Asia with an extra 26 kg baggage → KRW 60,000 (extra piece fee) + KRW 25,000 (overweight fee) = KRW 85,000
  • For safety and operational reasons, the maximum weight per piece is 32 kg (71 lbs). Baggage exceeding 32 kg (71 lbs) may be rejected for transport.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations and refunds are available up to 48 hours before departure. However, cancellations and refunds are not available within 48 hours of departure.
    In case of flight cancellations due to airline circumstances, such as weather conditions or operational issues, a refund will be provided.
  • In Case of Changes or Cancellations:
    • Before 48 hours of departure: Any purchased advance services will be automatically canceled and refunded.
    • Within 48 hours of departure: Any purchased advance services will be automatically canceled, but a refund will not be provided.
  • Cancellations and refunds can be processed through our website and Reservations.

Important Notices

  • Prepaid baggage purchases apply only to the passenger who made the purchase and are non-transferable.
  • Prepaid baggage can only be processed at the check-in counter and cannot be used at the boarding gate or other areas.
